I'm Yvette Gonzalez—a wife, mom, licensed cosmetologist, Goldwell Color Specialist, and co-owner of Tress+Mane Hair Extension Salon in Hermosa Beach, California.

For years, I've been passionate about helping women feel beautiful and confident through customized color and luxury hair extensions. My career has taken me from working with Vidal Sassoon in Beverly Hills to becoming a dedicated hair extension specialist who believes every client deserves a personalized approach—not a one-size-fits-all solution.

My journey into hair extensions began in 2016 when I was searching for a natural-looking extension method for my own hair. That's when I discovered NBR® (Natural Beaded Rows®), and I immediately fell in love with the seamless results. I knew I wanted to help other women experience the same confidence that comes with beautiful, natural-looking hair.

I completed the intensive NBR® Academy, a year-long certification program that included hands-on education, weekly online training, and extensive practical work to become a Licensed NBR® Artist. Since then, my passion for education has only grown. I've continued advanced training in multiple extension methods, including Luna Hair Extensions, Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE®), and Hotheads®, constantly expanding my knowledge to provide the best solutions for every client.

I believe mastering hair extensions takes more than attending a one-day class. It requires ongoing education, hands-on practice, working on models, submitting your work for evaluation, and continually refining your craft. That commitment to education and excellence is what I believe truly sets me apart as an extension artist.

Because every head of hair is unique, I don't believe one extension method works for everyone. Your hair density, texture, lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and goals all play an important role in determining the best technique. Whether you're looking for added length, fuller volume, or a complete transformation, I customize every installation to create the healthiest, most natural-looking result possible.

In addition to luxury hair extensions, I'm also a Goldwell Color Specialist, allowing me to create seamless color matches that blend beautifully with your extensions for an undetectable finish.

My favorite part of what I do is seeing the confidence that comes from helping women achieve the hair they've always dreamed of. There's nothing more rewarding than creating a look that not only transforms your hair but also helps you feel like the very best version of yourself.
